What documents do I need for address registration (Anmeldung) in Berlin?
To register your address at the Bürgeramt, you will need the following documents:
- Rental contract – to prove you have a legal residence
- Landlord confirmation (Wohnungsgeberbestätigung) – must be signed by your landlord or property manager
- Registration form (Anmeldeformular) – the official city form
- Valid ID or passport – for identification

Do I have to attend the appointment in person?
No – we handle the entire process for you with your signed authorization (Vollmacht).
Does the fixed price also apply to couples or families?
Yes – if everyone can be registered together in one appointment, there’s only one fixed fee.
How fast can the service start?
It depends on appointment availability at the Bürgeramt. In some districts, we can find slots quickly; in others, it might take a few weeks. We monitor the system daily and will notify you as soon as a matching slot appears.
What if the registration can’t be completed?
We prepare everything carefully and manage the process. If the Bürgeramt rejects the registration or asks for more info, we’ll contact you immediately and work on a solution together. Please note: final decisions are made by the authorities, and we can’t guarantee registration approval.
